Bohra Public School Conducts Dental and Eye Check-Up for Students

In an initiative aimed at promoting health and wellness among students, Bohra Public School organized a dental and eye check-up on 18.07.2024 and 21.07.2024.

The dental check-up, conducted by a team of experienced dentists from Matribhoomi Sewa Sanstha, Delhi ,involved a thorough examination of students’ oral health. The dentists checked for common dental issues such as cavities, gum diseases, and improper dental hygiene. Students were given personalized feedback on their dental health and were provided with practical tips on maintaining good oral hygiene. The importance of regular brushing, flossing, and proper dietary habits were emphasized to ensure long-term dental health.

Simultaneously, a team of experienced ophthalmologists from Sahay Eye Hospital and Research Centre Jaipur under the supervision of Dr. Vivek Vivan conducted an eye checkup
to detect any vision problems. The eye check-up included tests for visual acuity, color blindness, and other common eye conditions. Students diagnosed with vision issues were advised to seek further medical attention.The eye specialists also educated students about the importance of protecting their eyes from excessive screen time and the benefits of regular eye exercises.

Principal Mr. Rohan Khanna expressed his gratitude towards the healthcare professionals for their invaluable contribution. “The health and well-being of our students are of paramount importance. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that our students are healthy and can focus on their studies without any hindrance,” He said.

The school makes these health check-ups an annual event, aiming to foster a culture of health awareness among students. This initiative not only underscores the importance of regular health check-ups but also encourages students to take proactive steps in maintaining their overall well-being
