SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

CODE OF CONDUCT 

  1. Attendance and Punctuality
  • The school day begins with the assembly; all students must attend and reach at least 10 minutes before the bell. 
  • Students must attend school regularly and be punctual. 
  • A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory to appear for the final examination (relaxed up to 60% on medical grounds). 
  • Students absent for six consecutive days without notice will have their names struck off the rolls and will require readmission with a fee. 
  1. Conduct and Discipline
  • Students must behave politely, set high standards of good manners in school buses, classrooms, corridors, and public places. 
  • Discipline must be maintained within the school premises at all times. 
  • Students must be seated before the teacher enters and remain disciplined under the monitor’s charge during a teacher’s absence. 
  • Movement in corridors must be orderly, silent, and in a single line. 
  • Students must greet teachers and elders respectfully. 
  • Leaving the classroom without an ‘Outpass’ is not permitted. 
  • Students are forbidden from interacting with outsiders during school hours, except at the Reception. 
  1. Uniform and Personal Belongings
  • Students must wear clean and proper uniforms as prescribed. 
  • Bringing costly articles (watches, calculators, jewelry), electronic gadgets, or mobile phones is strictly prohibited. Confiscated items will not be returned easily. 
  • Weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden. 
  • Students must not lend or borrow money or valuables. 
  1. Property and Cleanliness
  • Care must be taken of school and personal property. 
  • Damaging furniture, walls, library books, or any school property must be reported and will be rectified at the cost of the offender. 
  • Dustbins must be used for disposing waste. Students must keep the school campus clean and green. 
  1. Academic Responsibilities
  • Students must be prepared for tests or exams at any time without prior notice. 
  • Irregular attendance, poor academic performance, negligence in homework, or disciplinary issues can lead to removal from school. 
  • Students must seek help from subject teachers whenever needed. 
  • Absence before tests or exams to prepare lessons is discouraged. 
  1. Health, Safety, and Emergency Protocols
  • Students should not remain in classrooms during Assembly, Library, or P.T. periods without permission. 
  • Students are not allowed to leave the premises without Principal’s permission. 
  • Half-day leave is discouraged. In case of emergency, parents must personally collect the student. 
  • In case of medical illness, inform the school on the same day via a call to the Reception. Medical certificates must be submitted for availing medical leave. 
  1. Parent-School Communication
  • Parents must not visit teachers in classrooms, except during scheduled Parent-Teacher Meetings. 
  • Leave applications must be submitted in writing to the Class Teacher. 
  • Parents are encouraged to use the suggestion box or write to school authorities for any concerns regarding their child. 
  1. Additional Guidelines
  • Buying food from unauthorized vendors near the school is strictly prohibited. 
  • Students going home by themselves must return directly without loitering around. 
  • Extra remedial classes may be organized for students needing additional academic support.
