Celebration of Diwali

Diwali, the festival of lights that enlightens the hearts and brings joy to every heart was celebrated in Bohra Public School on October 22,2022. Decorated in vibrant hues, the school had an ambience of joy and happiness. The celebration began with a special assembly highlighting the message of Diwali. Then, there was a rally conducted by students of classes VIII and IX. The students, walked 2 kms by foot, were sloganeering to encourage the people regarding the importance of Green Environment. The motive of the rally was to convey the message of Say No to the Crackers, Save Environment and Go Green. Then there was an Inter – House Rangoli Competition on the theme- “Education for All”. The rangolis glittered the school premises by its vibrant colours. Dayanand House won the first position. The second and third positions were bagged by Tagore and Nanak House respectively.Also, there was Class Decoration, Candle/Diya decoration and Cooking without Fire activities for the students. The students enjoyed the fun- filled day very much.

The School Principal, Mr. Rohan Khanna appreciated the assembly, applauded the performers and encouraged students to celebrate a pollution-free Diwali.
